MODX AI Extra
If you went looking for a MODX AI extra, this is the page you wanted. It explains exactly what MODX AI Agent is on MODX, what goes onto your site, and what does not.
Where this one stands
MODX exposes its content through its own connectors rather than a documented public API, so an Extra of our own would have to provide the interface first.
Is there a MODX extra to install?
Not yet. There is no MODX extra to install, because nothing has been built for MODX yet. The section above explains why, and nothing is sold until there is.
Why it works this way
Installing software on somebody’s website is a liability: it has to be updated, it can break on an upgrade, and it keeps running after they stop paying. Where MODX gives us a published interface, using it is better for you than giving you one more thing to maintain.
Common questions
Where do I download the MODX AI extra?
There is nothing to download unless the section above says otherwise. You connect your MODX site from your account here, and the connection is what does the work.
Will it slow my MODX site down?
Nothing of ours runs on your MODX site unless the section above says otherwise, so there is nothing of ours to slow it down. Requests arrive from outside, like any other client of your MODX interface.
What happens on my MODX site if I cancel?
Your content stays exactly as it is. You revoke the credential you created, and that is the end of it — nothing of ours remains behind to remove.
Getting started with MODX AI Agent
MODX AI Agent is not on sale yet. The product page tracks where it stands, and nothing is advertised before it works.
